Abduction

Scottish Border, 1550

Proud clan leader Elsbeth Ker longed for peace, but her stubborn English neighbors would have none of it--especially since the mysterious Alexander had returned to lead the Carey clan. Now the crofters had been burned out, and the outraged Kers demanded revenge. But when Elsbeth faced her enemy, what she saw in his steel-gray eyes gave her pause.... It was time for Alex to come up with a new plan for a border truce...one that included the Lady Elsbeth. (Backcover text)
