Everything unlocked in closed beta
Reading never sits behind a paywall. Author tools have honest tiers so the platform pays for itself — but during the beta there's nothing to buy and every capability is on.
Everything below is free, forever — no card, no catch.
For readers
Booklabria has no reader tier to buy — not now, not later. Every reader capability, from shelves and ARC access to Wraps, insights, goals and Profile Studio, is included in every reader account. Authors fund the platform — never readers.
Everything a reader gets
What you'll never pay for
The honest bit
No ads, no pay-to-rank, no selling reader data. Here's the whole model.
Reading is the product, not the paywall. Every reader capability is free and always will be — the platform is funded by authors, never by locking books away.
Tiers unlock more campaigns, deeper analytics and larger ARC programmes — the work of running launches. They never buy a higher ranking; placement isn't for sale.
No promoted slots, no pay-to-rank, anywhere. A book climbs because people genuinely finished and reviewed it — which is the whole reason the ranking is worth anything.
Questions
No. Payments are switched off across the whole product while we're in closed beta — there is no checkout, no card form, and no way to be charged. Every author capability is unlocked so you can build your catalog and run campaigns for free.
No. There is no reader tier and never will be. Reading, shelves, reviews, following, ARC access, Wraps, insights, goals, smart shelves and Profile Studio are all included in every reader account, permanently, with no ads and no selling of your data.
Annual plans are priced at ten months for twelve — you save two months versus paying monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual at any renewal.
Yes. When billing launches you'll be able to cancel or move down a tier whenever you like; you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, then continue on the free Author plan. Nothing is deleted.
Your books, posts and readers stay. If a lower tier has a smaller catalog or campaign limit, existing items remain visible and read-only where a limit applies — you're never locked out of your own work.
Booklabria isn't a store — there's no checkout for books here, so there's nothing to take a cut of. Author plans are a flat subscription for the launch and audience tools.
We'll publish it here first, explain exactly what each tier covers, and nothing will change for your account without your explicit opt-in. Beta authors hear it from us before anyone else.
Help shape Booklabria during the beta — as a reader, an author, or both. Nothing to pay, nothing to lose.
