And Then There Were Four

Five very different students at a private high school are brought together under mysterious circumstances: the popular and kind Antoine Duboi; the physically awkward Saralinda de la Flor, who has a big crush on him; Antoine's best friend, the wealthy, arrogant Evangeline Song; Martha McKenyon, the openly, defiantly gay transfer student; and Caleb Colchester Jr., the brooding, reclusive son of a famous doctor.

Before these five can figure out why they've been summoned, the roof of their meeting place collapses, and they just barely escape the catastrophe. Soon a second freak accident does claim the life of one of them, and little by little they piece together a shocking but plausible theory: that their parents are working together to kill them all. Is it true, and if so, why? But most important, can the teenagers figure out a way to save themselves? As the urgency builds, this unlikely group will gradually bond--some in love, all in friendship--while struggling to stay safe against the odds. You'll be desperate to discuss this thrilling page-turner with a friend as soon as you've reached its surprising, satisfying conclusion. This description comes from the publisher.
