Before happiness

Why are some people able to create positive changes in their lives, while others remain stuck?

In 2013 New York Times best-seller Before Happiness, Harvard-trained researcher Shawn Achor explains that before we can be happy or successful, we need to first develop the ability to see that positive change is possible. In unlocking the secret of human potential, Achor’s research points to a key perspective that we’ve been missing: everything we know about the influence of motivation, emotion and intelligence on success, is all colored by how we interpret and perceive the world. Only once we learn to see the world through a more positive lens can we harness our motivation, emotion, and intelligence to achieve our personal and professional goals. By mastering these actionable and practical strategies from Shawn, you’ll create a renewable source of positivity, motivation, and engagement that will allow you to reach your fullest potential in everything you do.
