MR. SEPTEMBER

Name: Clayton Masterson Residence: An isolated mountaintop cabin near Gasp, Wyoming. Population: 30. Companions: Television, a pet wolf and Great-Great Grandad's fiddle. Clayton Masterson preferred being on his own, so he seldom ventured into civilization. Still, he had no choice when forest fires raged in his direction. A sense of duty made him join the battle against the inferno, but the heat at the front lines was nothing compared to the blazing desire he felt for volunteer Shelley Adams. If he could only get close to the cool, distant beauty, he knew he could spark the flame of love in her heart... and send her resistance up in smoke!
