The Author Journal
Your Journal is your voice on Booklabria: entries in formats from a general post to a letter to readers, drafts, and a pinned entry on your page.
For authors · updated 2026-09-12
The Author Journal is where an author speaks. New entry (in the header, on Studio home and on your public page) opens a composer with formats: a general post, draft progress, a book excerpt, a character spotlight, a worldbuilding note, a letter to readers, a cover reveal, a studio note and more — each asks only for what it needs.
Entries can be saved as drafts (only you see them, under Studio › Posts) and published later; one entry can be pinned to the top of your page. Followers see your entries in their feed. The Journal is the author's voice — a reader account's posts go to Reading Life.
Where this lives
Related
- Your pen name and public page — Books, series, campaigns and Journal entries attach to your pen name; one primary pen name per author in the beta.
- Reading Life: posting to the feed — Reader accounts post reading moments to the feed in a handful of formats; each post has an audience; authors post in the Journal instead.
