Reading Life: posting to the feed
Reader accounts post reading moments to the feed in a handful of formats; each post has an audience; authors post in the Journal instead.
For readers · updated 2026-09-12
The composer at the top of your Home feed posts a reading moment: a general post, a book you started or finished, a progress update, a recommendation, a question for other readers, and a few more formats — you only fill in what the format needs.
Every post has an audience: public, followers only, or private. You can edit or delete your own posts and comments from their ⋯ menu. Author accounts do not post to Reading Life; their voice is the Author Journal.

- Following people and what you are told about — Follow authors, readers and series; notifications arrive in-app, grouped; e-mail is a digest you control.
- Reporting and blocking — Report from any ⋯ menu and a person reviews it; blocking hides you both from each other and can be undone from Settings › Privacy.
- The Author Journal — Your Journal is your voice on Booklabria: entries in formats from a general post to a letter to readers, drafts, and a pinned entry on your page.
